On 20th June, "The Girls" of Cranleigh Medical Practice will be taking part in the Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

New Health Centre and Village Hospital are on their way!
Cranleigh Medical Practice is delighted with NHS Surrey's decision today (09.03.10) to build the new health centre and village hospital on the current site. We totally understand that it is the only option which is deliverable in the tough financial climate the NHS faces. We are extremely grateful to NHS Surrey for making this project a priority. We were very concerned that we would lose everything, but now we know our patients really will get the 21st century healthcare facilities they deserve!
We know our patients are going to benefit immensely from a health centre which is fit for purpose, clean, soundproof and a pleasant environment to be in. We are very excited that the new hospital will have X-Ray on site, alongside out-patient clinics, physiotherapy and a new day hospital. Using our knowledge of our patients' needs, we have worked hard alongside NHS Surrey to make sure we get the very best facilities we can for them. We have particularly looked at accessability, flexibility, measures to protect confidentiality and the security and safety of our patients and staff.
We acknowledge the hard work and fundraising that has been done by Cranleigh Village Hospital Trust and hope that the money they have raised from our community will be used in this project to bring even greater benefits to our local people.
