Qualifications: MB BS (London) LRCP MRCS 1974. DRCOG.

Dr Verdon was born in Portsmouth and educated at Portsmouth Grammar School, then went on to study medicine at the Royal Free Hospital. He is the 5th generation of his family to practice medicine.

After working as an Anaesthetist at the Hammersmith hospital and then spending 3 years in Brighton on a GP training scheme, he went to work as a GP in Australia and New Zealand before joining the Cranleigh practice in 1981.

Main interests in General Practice are Diabetes and Psychiatry.

He has lived in Cranleigh for 25 years and is married to Rosy (a history graduate). They have 3 children and a dog.

Interests outside medicine include Running, golf, sailing and skiing. He is an enthusiastic member of Cranleigh Choral society and a member of the MCC
